Assistance On Purchase Of Fishery Requisites
A) A) Assistance For Purchase Of Twine And Nets :-
Assistance in the form of subsidy is provided to fishermen members through concerned fisheries co-operative society on the purchase of fishing nets and twine at concessional rates.

B) Assistance On The Rampan (Shore Seine) Twine To Rampan Fishermen :-

C) Subsidy On Construction Of Non-Mechanised Boat To Fishermen :-
1. Fishermen In Marine Sector :- Economically weak fishermen are awarded an amount equal to 50% of the construction cost of boat up to 10 Ton capacity or Rs. 60,000/- whichever is less. The amount of difference between the prevailing interest rate of the concerned financial institute and the 4% is awarded as interest subsidy if the loan is repaid in schedule period.
2. Fishermen In Inland Sector :- Economically weak fishermen are awarded an amount equal to 50% of the construction cost of boat or Rs. 3000/- whichever is less.
Criteria -
- Beneficiary should be below poverty line or from low income group.
- Beneficiary should be active fisherman.
- Age limit - 18 to 50 years.
- Beneficiary should be member of Fisheries Co-operative Society.
- Beneficiary should be sponsored by Fisheries Co-operative Society.
- Institutional Finance is essential.
